Divination

Divination is the art of reading symbolic language and imagery to draw meaning from what lies beyond ordinary perception. Tarot speaks through 78 archetypal images, layering myth and elemental association into a vocabulary of the psyche. Lenormand is more direct — its 36 cards read like a sentence of everyday symbols, house and ring and tree, stitched together in combination. Lithomancy, the reading of crystals and stones, offers a third dialect: meaning drawn through position, color, and mineral resonance, earth speaking through matter rather than image or word. Together, I weave these together to trace the same question through different tongues — mythic, linguistic, elemental — each asking what wants to be seen.

• Tarot. A traditional spread, drawn in conversation with you. I do not rush a reading; questions are welcome, and follow-up questions are part of the work. I read the cards as a language rather than as a verdict.
• Mlle. Marianne Lenormand, la Sybille de Paris. A quieter, less famous deck than the Tarot, with an eighteenth-century French lineage. Lenormand reads more literally than symbolically, small precise images, useful when you want a direct answer rather than an open mirror.
• Lithomancy: crystal divination. Stones placed on a cloth, oriented to a question, read for the patterns they form. A different language again, drawing on the long lineage of stone lore.

Divination sits between the everyday and the chart. People come when an astrology reading would be too long for the question, or when they want a deck-and-cloth reading specifically. Divination readings are a good way to get to know me and my style before committing to a full natal reading.

Format

Divination readings are held in person in Ansião, Portugal, or online by Zoom. You bring your questions. I bring the deck and/or crystals. Recordings on request.
