Welcome

I am Catherine Regan. I work as a consulting Evolutionary and Psychological Astrologer, intuitive and messenger, sound therapist, and crystal practitioner. I live and work in the countryside near Ansião, Portugal, a quiet, elemental place to do this kind of work. I see clients online by Zoom, and in person here in Portugal.

I am a traveler and citizen of the world, intensely passionate about creating — or better facilitating — alchemy in the lives of people around the world who are waking up. As an energy choreographer/intuitive, I can assist and hold space for you in accessing your inner guidance and self-empowerment so that you can live your most authentic life in any epoch or facet you’re in.

I use various modalities to be able to enter into an exchange with you — you decide the pace, which modalities you’d like to work with and what you’d like to work on or which part of your journey is now calling you most.

How I came to this

I have been a passionate student of astrology since I was sixteen, when I walked into my first Grundlagen der Astrologie seminar of a two-year program at the Hotel Gotthard, run by Claude Weiss and SFER Zürich. Between 1991-93 I studied Evolutionary Astrology in Seattle with Jeffrey Wolf Greene and continued in Zürich (from 1993-2005) through the Center for Psychological Astrology with Liz Greene who was then living in Zürich.

I have been fortunate to learn from extraordinary teachers from four continents, each one expanding and challenging my understanding of the Universe, the Astroverse, in new ways.

Outside of astrology, I am a Hibiscus Moon Certified Master Crystal Practitioner™, a Reiki master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage, and an iphm-accredited Heron Moon Diploma Sound Therapist.

I studied geology and minerals under Michael Gienger (1964-2014) who was one of Europe’s most respected experts on crystals and their uses and under a Salish (Northwest American First Nation) Shaman named Blue Hawk. Hibiscus Moon Academy (Florida, USA) was where I finished my crystal healing and practitioner training. I have long practiced Chinese Astrology that I was taught by Master Shizuko Ouwehand. The practice that lives at Mystic Indigo is the combined inheritance of all of that.

Most people whom I’ve worked with are not looking for predictions but for a clearer way of seeing what is already in front of them: a relationship at a turning point, a career crossroads, a parent-child dynamic that needs language, a period of grief, the intuitive lingering sense that something is shifting and has not yet found its shape.

I think of myself as an energy choreographer and intuitive, a messenger who can help you access your own inner guidance and self-empowerment so that you can create a powerful life.

I had a number of claircognizant “knowing” experiences as a girl that, frankly, freaked me out at the time. I studied and worked with Dr. Nancy Ann Tappe (died 2012), an American parapsychologist, educator, and synesthete who originated the “Indigo Children” concept in the 1970s. Known for seeing organized consciousness as colors, she detailed her “life colors” system in her 1986 book and taught regularly in Switzerland where I simultaneously translated for her sporadically during her classes. Nancy named me Mystic Indigo and pushed me to accept and develop my psychic gifts.

Years of slow, thorough study and practice of many modalities and teachings in metaphysics turned them into something I could work with, and eventually into work I do with other people.

I work in English, German, Italian and Schwiizertüüsch. I am a mom to a child that is an Indigo Artist (according to Tappe’s system) and am a 5/1 Manifestor in Human Design.

In my “other” career I worked as an international marketing communications lead with people in various metaphysical modalities within the companies and organizations I worked for. In 2025 I moved to a Moon Mercury Mars line crossing here. All I need to do is walk around this region and information starts to flow.
